Novice Dress, long sleeves. These are a loose fitting dress, they have let out but no let down in the dress for alterations. Please allow up to 4 weeks for production from confirmed measurements
PLEASE MEASURE IN INCHES – DO NOT ADD ANY EXTRA FOR LET OUT ETC, WE WILL DO THAT!!!!
1. Age: Age of child AND average age clothes worn by child
2. Chest – Measurment in INCHES, around the fullest part of the chest
3. Waist – Measurement in INCHES, around the slimmest part of the waist
4. HIP – Meaure around the widest part of the hip – usually about an inch below hip bone
5. Full Length – stand child up straight, head up and toe pointed – measure from ‘v’ in collarbone straight down the body to where you want the dress to finish- usually about 1 – 2 inches above the knee is a good stage length (THIS CANNOT BE CHANGED LATER) A good indication would be to put garments on the child, turn up to length required and measure these!
6. Arm – measure from top of shoulder to 1 inch below wrist OR to where you want the sleeve to finish.
Please send all measurements, we will compare them to the average for that age and contact you if we think they are any way incorrect. If you know your child is not s standard size, e.g.: broad shoulder, age 8 but wears age 10 clothes – please advise us and we will amend the pattern as much as possible to fit.
